Borrowing
Collect & Return Lockers
The Library is now a shelfless library. However, you can still borrow course books.
At the SIM Library website, simply:
- Search for books via OneSearch.
- Place a request
- Collect requested book from the Collect & Return Lockers after you have received a confirmation email.
To return loaned books at the Collect & Return Lockers, simply scan the return QR Code sent to your SIM email or your Student E-Card.
Collect & Return Lockers are located at Blk A Level 2, outside the library.
How to Borrow Course Books
The Library serves the following categories of users.

A friendly reminder to return loaned items will be sent three days before the due date to the same E-mail address.
Renewals
Renewal of loans is a free library service and can be done via My Library Account. A maximum of two renewals is allowed for books unless there are prior reservations for the items.
Books from the Recommended Course Collection (RCC) are not renewable as they are for short-term loan only.

Overdue Fines
Kindly return all items on time. Overdue items will incur fines.
When items are overdue, reminder notices will be sent via E-mail to notify the library user.
Please E-mail us to settle fines via PayNow.

Damage/Loss of Library Materials
Library users are required to report damaged or loss of library materials immediately to the library. Users are liable to pay for the current cost of the book plus an administrative fee of $16.35 (inclusive of 9% GST).
Out of print books will be charged at a flat rate of $100 (inclusive of 9% GST).
Loan of Laptops
Laptops are available for loan from the library. Each user is allowed to loan a laptop for free for only six hours per day. Thereafter, a charge of $2.00 is applicable per hour.
There are a limited number of laptops so loans are on a first-come-first-served basis.
